Our Mission

Better Way of Miami is proud to be a vital and integral part of the evolving systems of care for those struggling with substance use and mental health diagnoses in Miami-Dade County.

What We Provide

Our program integrates a range of therapeutic modalities, including individual counseling sessions designed to address personal challenges with depth and specificity. Process and psychoeducational group therapy sessions foster a supportive community and impart essential coping skills.  Vocational counseling empowers clients to envision and pursue fulfilling careers beyond recovery. At our center, we are dedicated to guiding individuals on a transformative journey towards sustainable wellness and resilience.

Our Sponsors & Accreditation

Better Way of Miami is proud to be sponsored by key government grants, including support from Thriving Mind, Department of Children and Family Services, the Homeless Trust, the Ryan White Program, and the Florida Department of Corrections. These invaluable partnerships enable us to provide essential services in substance use and mental health rehabilitation, HIV care,  criminal justice reentry, and permanent supportive housing, empowering our clients to achieve lasting recovery and reintegration into the community. Better Way of Miami is also a CARF accredited residential and outpatient treatment program. We are grateful for the trust and resources provided by these agencies, allowing us to continue making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
